They can refer to the email on file and see that it is my first initial, middle name, and last name. I also requested his chart to be emailed to me on the same day of his last visit. I went through his chart with the vet at BluePearl. I will reiterate what I stated in the review below: “They told me they expect it is some autoimmune disorder that could potentially be treated but no guarantees. At that time, I specifically inquired about the possibility of FELV or FIV…The vet completely dismissed the 2 diseases, explaining they are viral infections and my cat does not have a viral infection.” My cat’s chart does read: “Discussed the fact that he is very sick and that there is a possibility that he could pass away from this before we get it under control. Discussed testing for auto-immune- would be send out tests, bone marrow, abdominal US, etc.” What the notes do not mention is my specific inquiry about both FELV and FIV. And while discussing testing options, the vet specifically advised that any method of testing would take too long to get results. She said that it’d be quicker to see how he reacts to the antibiotics. BluePearl conducted a test within 1 hour. The fact that the owner attempted to invalidate my review by claiming that I am not the owner of my now deceased pet demonstrates to us that this veterinary practice lacks accountability. “Affordable care” is definitely not quality care.Now that 10 months have passed, I feel I can share this experience without strong emotions and malicious intent. I wanted to share this for the purpose of notifying the practice of their mistake and also as a caution to clients. In June 2023, my 4 year old cat became suddenly ill. He appeared constipated, but then, he began rapidly losing weight. He refused dry food but he would eat on wet food that was mixed with pumpkin. I was told to give him this by the vet when I called to schedule an appointment over the phone. We took him to this vet as it was our primary vet. The first day, he was sent home with subcutaneous fluids and some antibiotics. By the time we made it home, he had already absorbed all of the fluids. After 24 hours, he refused to eat anything at all. I then returned with him to the vet as they advised me to do over the phone. They gave him even more fluids and prescribed even more meds. They told me they expect it is some autoimmune disorder that could potentially be treated but no guarantees. At that time, I specifically inquired about the possibly of FELV or FIV. I had been doing research on Google and all signs pointed to one of the two. The vet completely dismissed the 2 diseases, explaining they are viral infections and my cat does not have a viral infection. He was also vaccinated by the same vet 2 years prior for FELV, and he was only a few months passed needing a booster. I paid for the medication and drove to an emergency vet in Murfreesboro where he was then tested for heart worms, FIV, and FELV. This test came back positive for both FIV and FELV, and they also found that his bone marrow was completely compromised. He had to be euthanized that same night. At that point in my cat’s health, I doubt there was anything this practice could have done to prolong his life. What they did wrong was give me hope, dismiss my concerns, and take money out of my pocket unnecessarily knowing that my cat was going to die within the week. If they didn’t have a clue that things would unfold the way that they did, I would be even more concerned to take my animal here as they are unaware and not thorough. I’m not saying this is a horrible vet to bring your pets to because they were great while my pets were in great health. And I partly blame myself due to several life changes preventing me from noticing the signs of cat’s illness sooner. However, if your are concerned for the health of your pet, please go elsewhere to avoid a similar experience. Lots of love to everyone, practice and all.

I can’t express how much my husband and I appreciate affordable vet care. They go out of their way to make our dog (and us) feel comfortable and taken care of. They go above and beyond and the care of incredible, all for the most affordable prices I’ve ever experienced for a vet office. Even more affordable then some of the doctors I have had to see for my own health! They are truly incredible! 100% recommend ??

Worst experience I have ever had with a vet. Got there, waited 35 minutes for a room, they took my cat (who was in pain, and with strangers) back to examine him. Returned shortly after and said they couldn’t do anything without being able to sedate him because he was freaking out. But they don’t have the ability to sedate on the weekends. Asked if I could hold him to calm him while they examined him, flat out wasn’t an option apparently. So sent me on my way, without telling me anything or helping at all, and charged me $47. Trash. Absolute trash. Never going back.Update: his paw had a fracture, and only needed a splint and some pain meds. Simple.

Worst service I ever had, they dont care if the vet sees your dog or not, they are always packed, low prices are not worth the aggravation of dealing with the incompetence of people who simply do not care!
