In trying to find a new vet, I took my boy to them for his shots and nail trim. The Dr spoke to us about the high level of anxiety, which is through the roof. He prescribed fluoxetine 40 mg. Our boy was od and had a seizure. The dose is .5 to .9 mg per lb. As a 29 lb dog, he was prescribed twice the dose. Don't know why it was done. Will continue looking for new vet.

A year in half ago Dr. Smith and staff saved my 13 year old golden retriever's life after my vet 1 mile down the street turned me away after 23 years of loyalty and numerous pets.They got Timmy back on his feet and healthy.Yesterday, was the worst day for my family because we lost our sweet 14 1/2 year old Timmy.Dr Gibson and Staff did everything right and made us feel comfortable with the process and never rushed us during our challenging time.
